About
Shiloh as a place of “Joy” means we are excited to carry what we gain at Shiloh into our everyday lives. This is embraced by the missions we share formally with the community, but also in the ways we encourage our people to share that same joy with co-workers, neighbors, classmates, friends, and strangers. In the end of it all, our “Joy” should be so infectious that people should ask, “Why do you share so much, care so much, and love others so much?” In response we can say, “Because God loves me so much, that I feel called to share this love with every person I meet.” We invite you to share joy everyday, and join us in our connected work in Billings and around the world.

Young people’s ministries
Through Shiloh UMC’s Children’s Ministry, we hope to help raise our young children to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Our classes encourage spiritual and emotional growth through a variety of Bible lessons, discussions, music, art, drama, and recreation. We also realize the importance of supporting parents. Parents are the most important role model in their child’s guidance and development. We hope to nurture a positive parent/child relationship based on Christian principles. Therefore, our parents are invited to participate in all areas of our Children’s ministry. Of course, the children’s safety is always our first priority and we are a Safe Sanctuaries congregation.
Contact our church office for curriculum information if you would like to enroll your child(ren), or if you would like to bless the lives of our children by serving our children’s ministry!
We implement safe sanctuaries as more than guidelines, policies and procedures implemented to create an environment in which children, youth and the adults who work with them have boundaries of safe space. Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression of a congregation in making a congregation a safe place where children and youth may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith. As a part of Shiloh UMC’s Safe Sanctuaries practices, all adults that work with our children and youth are required to undergo background screenings.
